Good morning, I would like you to clarify a doubt for me, the ESC ON/OFF connection has 2 wires, but they connect to servo extensions with 3 wires, one orange, one red and one black, the black and red wire that comes from the ESC are connected to black and red servo? And by the way, if you could tell me how the connections to the Servo Tester 3CH Digital are processed, I would appreciate it, for the image shown in the video, it is difficult, thank you very much.

yeah, but what if the lens is damaged, not just the surrounding shroud? If you scratch or crack your lens, THAT's what needs to be removeable. I can see this being nice if third party companies or even Insta themselves adds a new shroud with a high quality 98% +/- lens protector or a host of filters.

Have you had any overheating issues with it ? I'm doing the same mod but I'm a little concerned that the esc power leads are just 14 awg . Very small wire gauge for the amount of current these trolling motor draw .

I would love to do this. But my concern is screwing into it may affect the strength of the stand. Have you noticed anything?

Here I am again... I got the motor out this weekend for a test run and everything worked well. My next step is to add a disconnect so I can have a master power on/off. I am looking at solid state relays but am not sure yet. It looks like they need a heat sink over 5 amps or so. I remembered you had a kill switch and thought I would see what you were using for a relay. I can't make out the branding on yours in the video. Can you tell me what it is and where you sourced it? Its a regular magnetic relay isn't it? Thanks! BTW - I got about 4.6 mph on a Titan 10.5 but only was able to pull about 520 watts or so. Its supposed to be a 600w motor - do you have any idea what yours is pulling? I feel like there may be some tweaking to do in the pot extension setup that may get me back to 600w. I don't have a baseline before I tore it apart and mounted it.

Not sure what i am doing wrong. Wired to remote recieiver it works fine. Wired to servo tester output i get nothing. When i add 6v to input on tester i get smoke. Polarity of batt matches input, but it smokes as if reversedn polarity or over current. Can you provide wiring diagram? The the.remote works, but i don't like the spring loaded throttle and the cruise control is unreliable. :( i have 1 tester left, so am using.janky universal joint and pvc pipe linkage to the tiller throttle controller (5 fwd, 2 rev) until i find a way to contain the smoke. Watched several vids and all seem to avoid the wiring details.for.the servo.tester-based control of esc. It is as if it is too simple and obvious to need any further detail. I am new to RC, but have no trouble understanding DC polarity...or maybe do have trouble with + - decoding. :/

Used a cart for a year and went over to landing gear it’s 1000% easier lol I just roll it all the way into the water, paddle out a little bit, pop the wheels off and lock em in and then when I’m coming in to dock I just put the wheels on while in the the water and roll up the dock. The thing that sucks tho is the landing gear takes up some space and it’s more stuff to get caught up on.

I'm finally getting around to installing the haswing on the newport mount. Did you do anything to take up the slop between the shaft and hole it mounts in? I measured it and my newport shaft is about .050 larger than the haswing shaft. Cats and dogs, I know.

most likely it's airtight and stop people from exposing it to air as temperature changes can cause condensation. Don't want that fogging up the lens when you're scuba diving with it.

You can get filters that will fit but not sure about their waterproof rating and your warranty after you break the seal . From what I heard in another video they will replace it once within the first year if you break it . Not sure I wanna try this until after my warranty runs out .

I added spruce as a bottom shelf and a black roll down shade as a front cover and it made it disappear. I like the spruce on the sides might have to add that to mine 👌🏽
